With China’s fresh fruit produce market having increased fourfold in the last ten years, 2016 was a year of dramatic change for fruit categories and products on mainland China’s imported fruit market. Cherries recorded an 18% growth rate in 2016 to become China’s most imported fruit in terms of value. Improved cold-chain logistics and an ever increasing population of young urbanites has opened up new markets and driven huge growth in fresh e-commerce sales in recent years. The growth for of fresh e-commerce means that big service providers such as Alibaba and YihaoDian are now acting as both distributors and retailers, making them the key contacts within the sector. EuroFresh will also conduct the forum during FHC China this year to invite the distributors and importers in China to share the experiences and offer the solutions to the overseas suppliers.
For a taste of this rapidly growing market, join FHC China 2017 -China’s leading trade show for imported food and drink which returns to Shanghai 14-16 November with the highly anticipated, inaugural Fresh Produce China focus. This is an ideal platform of business introductions and negotiations with participation of over 72,000 distributors, importers, retailers and catering purchasing teams. FHC China takes great pride in being the only truly national tradeshow for imported food with 45% of visitors coming from outside Shanghai. This year once again will showcase the successful portfolio of Beer China, Tea & Coffee China, Meat @ FHC China, Dairy, FHC Hotel & Restaurant, Bakery China, Seafood China and Fresh Produce China.
