This year&#8217;s baking and dessert competition items are more inclined towards more accessible categories. Simple items can instead highlight the contestants&#8217; basic skills and their abilities to create, improve and upgrade. Swiss rolls and pound cakes, souffle cakes, and chocolate lava cakes have all been popular basic items in dessert shops in recent years.
