| 2nd Best of Mondial du Pain launched at FHC 2018 |
On October 22-24, 2017, the "6th Best of Mondial du Pain ”successfully concluded in Nantes, France, and the Chinese team achieved a sixth place. The “2nd Best of Mondial du Pain with top Six Classics" to be held on November 13-15, 2018, will be officially launched at the FHC (Food & Hotel China). As the platform for this competition, FHC is China's leading exhibition with 23 years of experience in imported food and equipment products, providing one-stop service for the industry with high quality services.
The "Olympic" of the bread industry
The Best of Mondial du Pain is the core of the competition with “Taste & Nutrition”. It is another professional event based on the World Bread Competition. This competition is held every two years and there are currently more than 60 countries and regions competed. Participation by countries and regions represents the highest level of bread baking in various countries and regions, and is called the “Olympic” of the bread industry. All the contestants are the outstanding teams of the previous World Bread Competition and are judged by international authoritative judges in various bread fields. During the period, there will be six teams, namely China, Japan, Belgium, Peru, Italy and France (in no particular order).
Competition rules & highlights
Each team includes a coach, a player and an assistant. Different from the 8 items in the Best of Mondial du Pain, the art bread in the Bakery Classic competition requires a live production. However, their competition time is only 3 and a half hours of preparation time and 8 and a half hours of formal production. This demanding requirement is not only a great challenge for the players, but also highlighted to the event.
