The 28th FHC Shanghai Global Food Trade Show, opening from November 12-14, 2025, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, has entered the final preparatory sprint. Organized by the All China Bakery Association, Shanghai Restaurants Cuisine Association and Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets International Exhibition Co., Ltd, this global professional food and beverage industry exhibition will cover a massive 200,000 sqm across all halls, gathering 3,000+ global premium exhibitors and 300,000+ unique exhibits, creating an annual feast for food trade and cultural exchange.
Currently, 21 international pavilions with 350 international exhibitorshave confirmed their participation. The 5,500 sqm international brands zone is ready, with the EU as the Region of Honour already securing the spotlight. 8 concurrent exhibitions, 10+ professional competitions, and 20+ forums are also in the countdown phase.

As the Region of Honour for The 28th FHC Shanghai Global Food Trade Show, the European Union will make a grand appearance in a dedicated pavilion (Booth: N3D31). Under the theme “IRRESISTIBLE EUROPE, COUNTLESS COMBINATIONS,” the EU aims to promote the exceptional quality of premium European food and beverages to the Chinese market.
The EU Pavilion will showcase diverse products from its 27 member states. Visitors can experience the appeal of European food and drinks in terms of safety, quality, authenticity, and sustainability. The pavilion will highlight a curated selection of over 220 premium products, including those protected by Geographical Indications (GI) – products backed by the EU quality certification system ensuring unique regional specialties and traditional production methods – as well as organic certified products – demonstrating Europe’s strong commitment to sustainable development.

Immersive product presentations will be held on-site, alongside exciting culinary demonstrations by renowned chefs such as Fabio Falanga and Gu Junjie, allowing attendees to witness the diversity and excellence of European ingredients.

In addition to the EU – the Region of Honour, 21 international pavilions and 350 international exhibitors are confirmed! The 5,500 sqm “Global Food & Beverage Flavor Matrix” is in the final countdown for exhibit installation.
Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Korea – Hall N1
The Thailand Pavilion offers a rich variety of tropical spices like lemongrass and curry, known for their strong aromas, essential for creating Southeast Asian dishes, helping F&B businesses enhance their menu offerings.
The Japan Pavilion focuses on high quality and practicality. At the previous exhibition, the Japanese pavilion featured imported specialties like seasonings, snack foods, distilled spirits (Shochu, Awamori, Whisky, etc.), Sake, processed foods, and beverages, providing supermarkets, retailers, and catering businesses with more diverse flavor options.
The Singapore Pavilion highlights Nanyang (Southeast Asian) flavors. Its distinctive Nanyang-style noodles, featuring laksa broth, curry, seafood flavors, along with various regional pastries and baked goods, offer unique experiences for the food market.
The Korea Pavilion centers on flavor and health, bringing categories like flavored juices, snacks, coffee, and condiments, combining nutrition and taste, aligning with current healthy consumption trends.

Armenia, South Africa, United Kingdom, Australia – Hall N2
South Africa’s winemaking culture is renowned. At previous FHC events, the South Africa Pavilion featured classic categories like rum and gin, alongside health beverages, tea, and other specialty products.

EU, Türkiye, Germany, Austria, Italy, Philippines, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sri Lanka, Ecuador – Hall N3
The Türkiye Pavilion, at the last exhibition, brought energy drinks, dried fruits, baked confectionery, dairy products, snack foods, edible oils, pulses, and grains, with a record number of participating companies and products, creating a bustling atmosphere.
Germany’s beer is world-famous. Beyond classic, rich beers, the Germany Pavilion will also feature high-quality dairy products, fruit juices, edible oils, and bakery products.
The Austria Pavilion brings Alpine drinking water to FHC and the vast Chinese market.
The Switzerland Pavilion offers premium chocolate with rich texture and diverse flavors, from classic tastes to innovative recipes, catering to different consumer needs; the Netherlands Pavilion will also showcase a variety of cheese products.
This year, we are excited to see Ecuador participating for the first time with a national pavilion. From tuna producers, boutique chocolate makers, and specialty coffee roasters to baked goods, healthy snacks, and high-end processed food companies, several leading Ecuadorian brands will be present, demonstrating the richness, authenticity, and innovation of their products.

USA, Canada, Uruguay – Hall N5
The USA Wisconsin Pavilion at FHC 2024 featured two star products: Wisconsin dairy and Wisconsin ginseng, allowing visitors to taste the pure dairy sources from the “Dairy State” while exploring world-renowned American ginseng.
In past exhibitions, the Canada Pavilion has featured high-quality cold-pressed oils, honey, alcoholic beverages, and other specialty agricultural products. The Uruguay Pavilion showcased premium beef and lamb products, along with Uruguay’s meat production processes and stringent quality control systems.
